Sign Of A Struggle

In the time it takes to find your place well

The guests all set to leave

And you’re always off at 9 o’clock

As if you got somewhere else to be

Come around admitting some mistakes well

I’m not just giving degrees

Not to devalue the parts designed to shock but

You can’t expect that from me

No sign of a struggle

I’m feeling great

No time for your trouble

It’s getting late

Hypnotized, another time and place

Your veneration galore

Now your body among a common stock and

Your second life is a bore

A spade and a shovel

Just save the date

We’ll turn it to rubble

And devastate

You went out for a couple

I turned it down

Our broken nature permits another take

It’s not just you on the floor

But let’s not forget my part had been replaced

When it ambled in through the door

No sign of a struggle

I’m feeling great

No time for your trouble

It’s getting late

You’ll be out for a couple

Now turn around

Put me down for a double

I’m seeing straight

You’re bursting my bubble

And I’ve been restrained

On track for your trouble

And I hear the train
